Becarefull with Ritz Couture

I just want to share with all of you about a bridal shop called Ritz Couture, located at 141 Devonshire Road, Singapore 239892, Telephone number: 68361088. The shop owned by a lady name Elaine Chou. We signed the deal with them on February 2008, which cost SGD$3000 (at the end we top up about SG$500 for additional pictures). The package we got is for gown rental for the actual day use and the photo shoot. Everthing were fine with this shop until one incident happened just about less than 2 weeks before our wedding. My Fiance's gown was lost!! Just before less than 2 weeks of our marriage in Indonesia! According to them, they sent 9 gowns to the laundry, and the laundry shop lost them. The shop owner asked my fiance to choose different gown as the replacement, but none of them fit my fiance's taste. So we decided to look for new gown in Jakarta and asked them to refund the money for gown rental. The shop owner told us they could only refund us SG$300. When I asked them to give us more refund, the shop owner told us the total package includes the following items: - make up trial - make up & hair do (studio) - rental of wedding gown (studio use) - rental of evening gown (studio use) - rental of mensuit(studio use) - rental of outdoor gown (studio use) - rental of teadress (studio use) - rental of wedding gown (actual day use) - Hand bouquet In other words, the gown rental cost only $300 if we look at the breakdown items above, which is not make sense at all. The shop owner asked us to understand their lost, but they never understand about the stress, the pain and our psychological was really distracted because of this issue, since the marriage date is very near. And at the end we have to spent more money for the ticket going to Jakarta, rent new gown, time, etc. I hope this will never happen to all of you and just becareful with this shop called Ritz Couture, though they have great staffs, but the owner is sucks.
