Any suggestion for outdoor wedding venues aside from Sentosa? :)

Are you talking about banquets or just phototaking? For banquets, there are botanic gardens, zoo, fort canning etc. Some hotels also have poolside banquets but subjected to weather conditions. Think for tropical country like SG, rain is always a factor to consider for outdoors.

That is true. I think it would be best to adjust to the weather, probably have an indoor alternative in case some unprecedented typhoon comes up. That is tedious, though, so better plan for an outdoor wedding in the summer months. I am keen on either a garden or a beach wedding. The zoo? I don't know about that, maybe a more serene area in the zoo.

Outdoor photo session is a definite treat. The helium balloon is really an excellent idea! I would love to be photographed in it too! Ever tried Bintan Island resorts like mana mana or Banyan Tree? especially during the monsoon seasons, the sky can be very unpredictable but ask any street photographer, not all prefer dramatic lightings, some friends of mine actually prefer overcast skies as they claim it offers even and softened lighting conditions. I have a sister in law who lives in Germany and she is planning to open a bridal boutique and looking for a photographer to hook up with in Singapore to shoot newly weds there. Will update you guys about the pictures!

I guess that's possible in sg as well nowadays. With the DHL balloon at Bugis. Can pay to have a wedding in the sky. Though must grab fast since no stated time when it'll stop operating.

Thats true. the last time the Starhub Blimp was there no many people knew when it would stop opertating and hence, we all missed it when it was gone. hopefully the DHL version can stay a little longer!

Actually I just held my wedding at this fine dining italian restaurant at sentosa golf course named il lido. It was a blast!haha If you are looking for a venue with an outdoorsy kind of feeling, il lido has an indoor and outdoor setting. The alfresco area has a great view of the sea and the golf course. Coming to the evening you can even see the beautiful and romantic sunset. The place is not really big though..it houses about 190 guests which is about 20 tables. Great for couples who prefer a small, itimate and cosy wedding.
