Do you plan to have "our" money, "her" money and "his" money, or both? I think it's important for a couple to be united when it comes to finances and financial decisions. Even so, don't they each deserve some that's hers or his alone?

To address the unision of being together especially when it comes to wedding and life after that. I am in favour of distributing financial resources amongst husband and wife, well, at least for the major and more important expenses that both will incur. That little stack of money you hide inside the water closet enclosure will prove useful one of those rainy days too.
