I definitely plan to have a professional do my hair and makeup. I simply won't risk doing it myself and end up having to worry about it. It might just add to the tension.
Halo Beatrix,
Yalor, i had the same thought like you. felt that it will be better to leave it to the pro to take care of our hairdo and makeup for the big day. Like u said, do not want to add on to our tension. And there's no time for us to do that also. Furthermore, they are the pro, they knows whats the best and not to suits the bride. :)
I agree, I think that it would take a lot of tension off butthen again, I'd panic f they did something I didn't like! It might be better to control it myself...
That can happen, but before I choose which service will do my makeup, I will make sure they are well vouched for and maybe try them before the actual wedding. That way, I am assured things will go well. :)
Hi ninikins,
u can also always ask them for go through a trial make up and hairdo with u (maybe will have some cost lah for some). So that u can have a better pic. Or u can also discuss with ur MUA inadvance so that they know ur taste. Furthermore, they r the pro anyway.
If u really doesnt have much confidence with the MUA, & prefer to DIY urself. By all means, so long u r comfortable. As its ur big day. :)

I'd agree totally. Bottom line is, it's your day and you should do what makes you comfortable and happy.
But if you're going with a MUA, better to have a dry run first. My cousin had a unpleasant experience bcos she didn't take the trial and the MUA used some colours and styles that she didn't like. Wasn't that the makeup was bad, just that they had different ideas about what was nice.
I agree with those who recommend a professional stylist. I think this is a good idea in order to reduce the stress of te big day and to make the bride feel pampered and special. If there is a good friend or relative that could do it, that would work, too. The point is for the bride to have one less thing to worry about.
Hmm, I hadn't thought about going through with a trial run...sounds logical now you say it! thanks for the advice!
Hi Ninikins,
Not to worry.. just a 2 cents thought sharing. :)
