I've been trying to lose weight since forever but I just can't seem to achieve the weight and body size I want. I don't want to cram when there is only a couple of months left to the wedding date as I am sure that doesn't work. Well, I am trying to exercise, however, I can't do it everyday because I just have other things to do. It is the same lame excuse, I know. In the event of dire need, what else could I do to slim down fast?

Personally, I feel it's always a matter of time-management and determination. Cos the lure is always there to just laze after a busy day.
But then again, you could always 'cheat' using Extrim or something similar.

Maybe it's better to just eat right and exercise as much as you can? I think it's more important to be healthy than to reach for some size that may not really be the best for you. I bet eating well, getting enough sleep, exercising and your gorgeous dress will make you more beautiful than any diet.

eat small meals more times a day. drink a lot of water and avoid foods that bloat you unnecessarily.

In my case, I only got big when I was pregnant and have to breastfeed after giving birth. When the kids were older, I lost weight due to pressure in the job and at the same time taking care of the baby. What I did was that I eat only little during meals because when my stomach gets used to much food, it is going to ask for more even before eating time. :)

I second the advice of exercising, eating right and getting enough sleep. Exercise and a balance diet low in calories, sodium and fat is the only way I am able to lose wieght and keep it off.

To slim down fast, there are lots of diets out there. They don't work in the long run, but, if you want to lose, say, five pounds in one or two weeks, they can help. There are diets based on juice or eating small amounts. One is the cabbage soup diet, which I hated. But it works.
These diets don't actually get rid of fat, just excess water. But if you're desperate, they're effective.

try to exercise at least once a week to maintain current weight. exercise twice a week (intensive cardio exercise) to lose weight.
try to eat less starchy food like rice and potatoes.

After trawling through numerous articles, the only constant suggestions that keep popping up is a good mix of cardio exercises, toning exercises and healthy diet. Of course, this is way harder than the simple pill popping solutions most ppl prefer. But it's cheap and guaranteed to work, [b]IF[/b] you are determined.

Recently I have found the right way to slim down and no rebounce. maybe it will be ur last slimming course in your whole life.

i agree with ming siong that determination matters alot. perhaps you can take off some time for a short swim every night. afternoon would not be good since that might get you tanner!
