Hey Kai, Hope u've been

Hey Kai, Hope u've been well ya...=) Almost a year since we met... Hope u're gettin on great.. Sorrie for takin this long to post a review on yr fantastic work ya... =) Dear All, Here's my personal experience with the team from Kalyedoscope. I had my actual day last year on 21 Sept 2005 and only started sourcing for photographers and videographers sometime after CNY... kinda panic den as there were so many things to finalise... wedding preparations, hse renovations... evything lumped within less than 9 months to our big day... While doin my research... i came across Kalyedoscope's website... was kinda impressed with their work n started lookin up forums on pple who got them to do the photography on their wedding day... i must say i was impressed... when i contacted Kai, we had a short conversion on msn n arranged to meet up so that i could see their work n also discussed the package i wanted in detail. I must say i was rather fortunate as he was also meetin 1 of his clients on tt day n they were happy to share with us the work tt Kai did for them... My hubby n I were rather impressed as they managed to not only capture wonderful pics of the couple but they also managed to get the essence of the whole days event on photo... i tink tt was the point of no turnin back for us... heheh... i somehw knew we would be gettin Kai n his team to do our actual day for us... =) n to this day i have neva regretted tt decision i made... We finalised the other details within the next few months... n i decided on the dual photographer + videographer package. I must say the actual day was rather hectic as i had a church weddin (in sengkang) followed by tea ceremony at both parents plcs (hougang n Jurong west). we also poped by our our new plc in cck before the 2nd tea ceremony... to top evythin, we had the dinner on the same day... boy was it hectic for evyone involved... However, I must say the day went by like a breeze.... Kai came to my plc in Houg whereas Master Foong was at my hubby's. kekeke... though Kai was slightly late which we neva blamed him for...=) the pics the both of them took were marvellous... Both of them not only lived up to our expectations but in some ways they exceeded it... They, esp Kai, reali made evyone relax in front of the camera... kekek... esp my hubby who's slightly camera shy... i think the most impt thing btw the couple n their photographers is tt both haf to be relax with each other n trust has to be there... only them can great pics be captured... hehe.... the whole day went by so fast... sooner then we realised we were already preparing for the reception at the hotel... Master Foong was replaced by Max... (i'm rather sure it's the same Max tt evyone's referrin to) in any case... i didn't notice anything out of the ordinary... maybe apart from him takin too many pics of one of my gfs =) (Kai, i saw tt look on yr face too... hahaha...=P i'm pretty sure we were tinking abt the same thing) Anyway evything went on well... no disappointments at all... All in all.... the service from Kalyedoscope was excellent... Kai & Master Foong together with Alvin were superb. Max did wat he was supposed to do... so no harm or damage done on my big day =) My trust in u guys will always ne there... n i will continue to recommend u guys to all my frenz... Its almost 1 year since our wedding day but i can still remember it like it was only yesterday... evyone complimented on the pics... I knw this will neva be enaf but Thanks for makin our big day an unforgettable one with all yr pics n video capturing the many moments... =) It meant alot to the both of us... Rachel & Garry ;)

Hi all, Saw the thread with

Hi all, Saw the thread with all the wonderful comments and reviews abt Kai and Marcus (Kalyedoscope Photographers) and wanted to have one review on them of my own to make sure every potential couples know that there are these WONDERFUL wedding photographers around. Up till today, i can still remember (my AD was on 18 Mar) all the fun and the countless laughters that we (including all the bro and sis) had with Kai and Marcus around taking our photos. They really spice up the whole day and our memories of that day of our life. The photos that they had taken were in such fine details and excellence, capturing every impt happenings on that day.....what more can I said other than perfect? Everyone complimented on the photos.... and also, the little extra things that Kai had done for us really made our day sparkled even more. Bottomline is, they are definitely the guys to get if you are looking for quality and FUN works and i urged anyone who is considering on AD photographers to give them a call right now and you will never regret it... :) Wai Khay and Evelyn

Kai sorry for the delayed

Kai sorry for the delayed comments, you deserve immediate comments for the great job you did. We love what he did for our ROM alone. He really knows how to coax the frozen into camera whores =D and made us all look really good. And this coming not just from KL and I but from friends and colleagues alike. Some called it celebrity-like. He even managed to capture shots of some meaningful moments without prior coordination. Truly a pro. Cheers Kai, Aly & KL P/S: We're employing his services once again for the church wedding and dinner so he's ours for Mar 8/08! :P

Hi kai, Wanna thank you for yr professionalism despite having a bad diarrhoea on my wedding day. What a pity that you were not your usual self on that day, if not, probably it'll be more fun. Nonetheless, the photos turned out great! Thank you for the great service :-) Edwin & Sabrina

Dear Kai... Thanks for the great job you had done for our ROM on 1st Oct. We love the pics taken and also the customised album. Oh yeah.. The slideshow is superb.. very romantic!!! I had given ur namecard to my friend. She will pass it to her bro who will be getting married next year...

Hi ya Kai! Just saw you

Hi ya Kai! Just saw you yesterday!! You can't believe how many of my guests love your wedding express. It's eye-catching and they even ask me to load online for them to view again. I must really thank you for making my special day so enjoyable. To those reading this comment, I would describe Kai as being jovial, humourous, professional and talented. His pics were light-hearted and a joy to view. He could capture moments without asking for pose shots, which I like very much. I was very impressed when I saw the wedding express after the dinner. There were smiles on my guests' faces, as commented by my emcees. Just visit his website. The pics say a thousand words!! I'll post mine when I receive them for more sharing! Thanks Kai! I'll highly recommend you to my friends! Cheers, Joanne & Kelvin

Hiya kai, Hee, this is like

Hiya kai, Hee, this is like your fan club page. To others reading this, Kai IS GOOD and sporting as well. He got pestered to take photos to me the whole day on my wedding day. Though it took a moment to persuade him to put on a red "Ronald McDonad" wig and pose with me & hubby... in fact so infectious that my videographer from another company shyly requested for one as well on the wedding night (Kai, if you are reading this, please do not delete the photo I took with VG at dinner... Hee... he's envious, wants one as well) His photos are really good. Love the way he capture somehow magically is able to capture the critical expression on people's faces. Light hearted, very natural and no stiff posing. Love the way he manages to let you feel the atmosphere just by looking at the photo. *****Rave photos!!!!******** The "brothers" saw the photo express again last Sat and rave over the photo he took with the husband wildly happy holding up tweezer & the pained expression on the owner of the plucked hair =) And just am very impressed with the photo you took of the 2 brothers sitting on the floor. No one bothered to take any photos of the 2 quieter guys except you..... For some reason I cannot explain, that photo is one of my favourite from the montage you painstakenly put together. Thanks Kai!

Superb photography by

Superb photography by Kalyedoscope Photographer's Kai.  His team covered my friend's wedding here in Malaysia just yesterday. I was amongst one of those who were passionately engrossed during the photo slideshow presentation half way through the banquet. We were breath-taken by the details and the subtleness of this photographer's photojournalism style.  We have a good number of wedding photographers here in Malaysia, especially in Kuala Lumpur, however, his eyes for details added much dimension to the overall impact of the pictures. I even overheard a close friend of the groom who was sitting next to our table telling the photographer Kai that he was impressed with pictures (giving the thumbsup as a sign of approval).  I have heard of Kai and his Kalyedsocope team before, from some of the web forums (including this one) and I have to admit it previously did not come across to me that he is THIS good. After last night, my sentiments changed.  Well done, Kai!
