Introduction

Leveraging on its success for last year's bridal show, Le Meridien brings about a spectacular blend of style, service and cuisine this year on the 25th March. The aptly named "Journey of a Lifetime" brings to mind the journey that each wedding couple is preparing to embark upon. The reception and ballroom were finely decorated with an interesting blend of candlelights and floral bouquets which we'll be featuring later in the article.

Upon registration at the reception counter, each wedding couple was gifted with a welcome pack. And as Singaporeans, we all love freebies. Le Meridien managed to put together the norm of coupons and vouchers as well as the latest edition of the Style Weddings magazine, which should be useful to the brides-to-be. Though the special icing to the cake in this case is the thoughtful addition of small wedding favours which, in my book, speaks volumes for Le Meridien's attention to details.

An ornate wine charm featuring the bride and groom. Initially, this got me stumped. But luckily the back of the box explains that they are used to adorn the stem of the wine glasses as a sign of good luck.

Ballroom Decorations

Conclusion

The Le Meridien Bridal Show offers a delightful mix of romantic lighting and cutesy wedding favours with the general theme conveying a sense of playful romance that would appeal especially to young couples. However, the focus of the wedding seems to be centred about the largest ballroom, Margaux Ballroom, with little emphasis on the other ballrooms and outdoor weddings at the poolside.

All in all, the Le Meridien Bridal Show managed to showcase an interesting variety of wedding decorations as well as coordinate an entertaining afternoon of activities which proved both informative and engaging. It would certainly be worthwhile to make a trip down.
